the wip for this was displayed during an event in my school LOL

cough i put in a lot of effort in this i think???? i tried to give it a reddish atmosphere but HAHAHAH how do you.
so i ended up spamming the layer effects and hue/saturation/contrast

i was inspired after watching Glider's speedpaint video *V* so i tried out-- homg layer spam do not want. how did he did it-
i incorporated the light reddish part for pointy parts of body like cheek and elbow and knee etc trait since this one pic

a month full of doodling and unqualities. started to get attached to dull colours here and tried extremely simple cell-shading but failed also started to use dark red line for lineart

first time trying to do a one layer painting! i tried this painting technique after seeing how Glider colour eyes and mouth >v<;; was pretty frustrated when i was painting this because of the badminton final match in Olympics LOL reminds self not to watch anything when arting

ohmygod i've always wanted to draw cut-in pic like this >V<; i ruined it though
this is the first pic i did with the semi-painting style im using until now, it started as an experiment so i wasted a lot of time brushing here and there----
also the making of this is the most dreadful experience i had in 2012, i will never try to art something big in the middle of exam again also self-reminder to never ever art something for more than a week because all motivation was lost and i must finish this orz

i wanted to choose fav.me/d5nsg38 but it was a collab so orz ONE DAY I WILL DRAW AS AWESOME AS ASH....
so like i really liked this colouring style so i invested more time to develop it- the result and technique/time taken mainly. i was surprised how easy this style is to use tbh. the pic i've chosen for this month is done in around 2 hours, which is really fast compared to others-
also i forgot how to Enro LOL the irony considering i was spamming him in 2011-

even though im already used to the current speedy semi-painting colouring style and i like it, im still a little not satisfied with it idk why-- maybe it's because i like glowing things but still have no idea how to put it in this current style-----

tl;dr
• this year is more of experimenting with colouring i guess
• changed from cell-shade to semi-painting style
• still needs lineart though
• started trying painting around June
• started to draw fanart more than original art in this year
• most productive months = Nov and Dec
• least productive months = Feb, March and April
• love for Rin increased
• i tried not to make every single month Rin
• this meme is made of 25% Azusomeness, 41.67% Vocaloid, 16.67% air pirates, 16.67% MonHun, 16.67% cosplay and ?????% of other things
• or 50% RP group and 50% fanart}
